Description for Chevrolet Chevelle 1964
1964 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 Deluxe Nine Passenger two door station wagon offered for sale in the San Francisco Bay Area of California.
This freshly restored car has been very nicely built to be both reliable and deliver great performance. a 454 HO 425HP crate motor (specs below), he wagon delivers its power to the 12 bolt rear via its Turbo350 automatic transmission.
Handling has been well taken care of with power disc brakes at the front and a complete suspension upgrade to Hotchkis' Stage II kit. Great exhaust note courtesy of a very tidy Dynamax custom set up.
Nicely equipped restored interior features tilt wheel, ncut dash retaining its original AM push button radio and power windows. Sound system comprises a high-end Alpine head unit with LCD monitor and smartphone inputs powering Boston Acoustics color matched speakers. Ruble seat installed and left deliberately crusty.
Paint is in excellent shaping and highlights the fact that this is a garaged car that has seen around 2,000 miles of use since completion.
Vehicle was originally a two door two seat wagon (per the tag) with the "interesting" combination of triple brown color options.
Overall a highly presentable top end driver car that looks, uns, rives and performs exceedingly well across the board.

Hemmings Find of the Day – 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 two-door station wagon
Daniel Strohl on Sep 4th, 2015

Is this brown car fanaticism gone so far that a car can earn points for originally coming in a tri-tone brown even when it’s no longer wearing those earthtones? Or did the builder of this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 two-door station wagon for sale on Hemmings.com miss out on an opportunity to appeal to a rabid subset of enthusiasts? It could always go back to brown, we suppose, given that it’s no longer original and now up to the next owner to personalize. From the seller’s description:
